Dr. Weaver

Not being someone who took daily vitamins or OTC’s, I was reluctant to take natural Supplements. But as various health issues kept plaguing me (restless leg syndrome, thyroid problems, digestive issues, gallbladder pain), Dr. Weaver would suggest certain supplements that could help or even alleviate my symptoms. After taking the supplements he suggested and fining great relief within weeks and even days of taking them, I am a firm believer in the present and long term value of natural supplements. Reading about the dangers of synthetic vitamins has even further convinced me that I am on the right track with my daily intake of natural supplements. —C.M.

I suffered form severe allergies for about six months- constant sneezing, itching, and watery eyes, even hives. I took over the counter medications hoping for some relief. Finally, I made and appointment with my physician. He told me “although you have all the symptoms of allergies, it is the wrong time of year.” He then suggested that I take some over the counter allergy medication. When I told him again that I had been doing that for several months, he shrugged his shoulders and handed me my bill. I made an appointment with Dr. Weaver who gave me a symptom survey form. After his evaluation, he started me on several different natural vitamins. Within three weeks almost all of my allergy symptoms were gone. Other health indicators that had shown up on my evaluation improved greatly. I am feeling almost 100% better. Thank you Dr. Weaver for your patience in trying to get to the source of my allergies naturally and not telling me to continue suffering!!! —K.D.

My husband and I were in a battle with Workers Comp for about 2 years trying to get a second opinion for surgery. Jack was recommended to us by our current primary care doctor who felt Jacks experience and knowledge could help Randy more than he could. We really appreciate this recommendation because ever since Jack took over Randy's care, we have had little problems getting the care he needed. Jack knows exactly how to get past the constant wall like barriers Workers Comp throws up. We highly recommend Jack to anyone who needs a primary care doctor in regards to Workers Compensation. —C.D. & R.D.

Dr. Weaver

Dr. Weaver has been a great Dr. to us. My Husband got hurt at work about a yr. Ago, Before we met Dr. Weaver we were up and down with Dr.s because my husbands job had no work comp. We had many Dr.'s who wouldn't see my husband because it was a work related injury and no work comp. When we got a lawyer he sent us to Dr. Weaver. Since my husband has been a patient of Dr. Weaver's we have had MRI, CT SCAN , and even surgery in May 2010. Dr. Weaver has not only been a great Dr. but a friend. If we ever have questions he is always there to help us or send us in the right direction.. I would highly recommend Dr. Weaver to everyone. His a caring compassionate Dr. he truly cares for his patients well being. If it wasn't for Dr. Weaver I don't know what my husbands medical status would be today... —The Matthews Family

On June 2nd 2009 I was involved in a bulldozer accident at work and suffered from extreme back and neck pain. I contacted workers comp and got the run around as they conducted investigations on my claim. During that time I was off of work and was not receiving any temporary disability, I didn’t know what to do. Workers comp sent me a list of network providers to pick a primary doctor to assess my injury and create a plan for treatment. At that time I chose Dr. Jack Weaver. That was the best thing I did. After meeting Dr. Jack Weaver I found him to be very knowledgeable in all aspects of medicine and an incredible chiropractor. We developed a plan of treatment where he referred me to many different specialists, took care of all workers comp paperwork, and preformed joint manipulations on my low back and neck. Workers comp accepted my claim, I received the appropriate medical treatments, and my back and neck are getting better. I can honestly say that these results are due to Dr. Jack Weaver’s knowledge of back injuries and workers comp claims. I would recommend Dr. Jack Weaver to anyone who is injured and is dealing with workers comp. —J.D.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Weaver for chiropractic treatment for many years. We find him to very professional in everything he does. Over the years there have been numerous occasions for us to get adjusted from our aches and pains and usually get to the place where the aches and pains clear up. When Dr. Weaver has observed continued problems or new injuries that he cannot work on, he has referred us to various medical doctors who have been able to help us, with followup, in many cases, by Dr. Weaver. We find his staff to be very friendly and professional in each visit, going out of their way to fit us into office visits dictated by our busy work schedules. —M.W.

Thanks so much for getting my back into a movable condition again. When I came to you 3 months ago I was in so much pain I couldn’t stand, sit, bend or stoop over in anyway. I can now do it all. You had me take Glucosamine Synergy and it helped me so much. I do believe in it whole-heartedly. Thanks also for helping my granddaughter. She had put her back out and with just a few adjustments she is able to work again. You are greatly appreciated. —N.B.

Dr. Jack Weaver is my chiropractor. He and his staff are awesome people. They are very kind and sensitive, and very accommodating and flexible to your schedule and your needs. I just love them to pieces. I have allergies and when they start acting up I go in and he does a sinus and allergy adjustment and then every thing is great. I also have has a lot of problems with TMJ but since I have Been going to Dr. Weaver it has completely cleared up and I no longer have any problems with it. I have somewhat chronic head, neck, shoulders, back and hip problems, but since I have been seeing Dr. Weaver I only have to go every six weeks or so.....if that. Even if I don't go every six weeks and I wait till it is really starts acting up again, One or two adjustments fixes me right up and now I don't really have to go at all. —G.E.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Weaver since 2006 after my previous chiropractor retired. I’ve had many physical mishaps this past year and their kindness and concern has certainly raised my spirits and made me feel like one of their friends. They are efficient and always courteous. Within the journey of our lives we run into the beast- PAIN in our body. I fell at work over three years ago and was in horrific pain from this fall. I had a doctor when I fell, however he retired while assisting me. Redding is a hard place when it comes to finding a doctor, which can handle workman comp cases. I was directed to Dr. Jack Weaver, Weaver Chiropractic, in which with him and his staff I have been elated. He is extremely knowledgeable of pain and workman’s comp cases. When I fell, I was diagnosed with carpel tunnel syndrome, cervical strain, headaches, chronic pain, degeneration of cervical disc, impingement syndrome of my shoulder, neck-pain, shoulder pain and a broken breast implant. My case is a difficult one as I previously had breast cancer and several lymph nodes removed. If I had and operation on my injuries from this falls, I could get full-blown lymph edema- a disease hard to treat. I look back at all the pain I had when I began and I thank Dr. Weaver and his wonderful staff so much for all their hard work. I feel as though I have become their family and look foreword to my appointments in seeing them. Thank you Dr. Weaver and staff- you’re not done with me yet but think of it this way- I am just a little pain now. —K.N.

When I first came to see Dr. Weaver O was having headaches 3-4 days a week. After seeing Dr. Weaver once a week for a month I now only have a rare headache. I would like to express my appreciation to Dr. Weaver for the help he has given me. It is wonderful to be able to go through the week without headaches! I would recommend anyone who is having headaches to come in and see Dr. Weaver. He is very gentle and he really cares. —M.B.

I had a headache that had been with me for ten days. I had massage therapy, which helped some of the neck pain. It didn’t touch the headache and the massage therapist thought I probably needed to see a chiropractor. I saw Dr. Weaver. He gave me one adjustment and within an hour my pain was gone. —C.S.

My first back injury was in 1964. I had another flare-up in 1986. The pain was so bad that I could not bend over to tie my shoes rating the pain at 8-9/10. Eventually I recovered with chiropractic treatment where my level of pain has been down to 1-2/10 for many years now. When I neglect chiropractic treatment, my condition slowly worsens. My back becomes unstable and is subject to flare-up from time to time. I found that I do better if I am treated once every two weeks. With chiropractic treatment my pain is able to be maintained at 1-2/10, which I expect as normal for me given the fact that my medical doctors wanted to perform a fusion on my low back. I would rather receive chiropractic treatment from time to time to keep my situation in control rather than undergo a spinal fusion and have no guarantees as to whether or not it would be better. —C.M.

Let me start by saying that no matter what age you are, continue to learn and be educated about your body and what causes your aches and pains. I’ve recently been learning a lot from Dr. Jack Weaver on the importance of maintaining ones bones and frame, not just the muscles that surround it. I’m 38 and work for a local hospital. When you work in an environment that caters to the wellness of others you come to expect a caring atmosphere from your own personal experiences with doctors and their office personnel. I was very impressed with the caring attitude of not only Dr. Jack Weaver but his wonderful staff. Your visit is warm, friendly and you’ll feel right at home. A week ago my back, neck, and legs hurt and I had a nagging headache. All this time I was getting body massages for my aches and pains. I’ve never been an advocate of chiropractors cracking ones bones until now! Dr. Jack Weaver came highly recommended and I personally found him gentle, knowledgeable, and easy to understand. The actual process only takes minutes and the soreness only about a day as your body adjusts to being properly aligned. My headaches are gone and painful areas I’ve been living with have been corrected and pain free after only a few visits. —T

Three different times in my life Dr. Weaver’s care has brought me out of a health crisis. When I was in my teens his nutritional advice and supplements helped correct hypoglycemia and hormone issues. In my thirties I experienced severe back trauma that Dr. Weaver was able to stabilize through chiropractic adjustments. Then in my forties I went through extreme adrenal fatigue and once again with his nutritional direction and proper supplements I was able to recover. —L.T.

I said, "Me go to a chiropractor, no way!" As time went on, the laminectomy that I had in 1980 began to pain me. A friend offifty years who had been a chiropractor years before referred Dr. Jack Weaver to me. He told me that he was a very gentle, caring doctor, and he felt sure he could help me. I had visions of adjustments that would crack the bones up and down, making me sore and uncomfortable, causing my blood pressure to rise to the skies. Going to Dr. Weaver was not an easy task, but the pain was becoming unbearable. Since the pain and soreness were not getting any better, 1 made an appointment. My family doctor wanted to get rid of the pain by more pills, but I was fed up with pills; I didn't want anymore pills. Dr, Weaver talked to me, and by asking questions, I was able to tell him what he needed to know about the laminectomy that I had. He was interested in everything I had to say; he listened intently. He didn't show that he was interested in getting to the next patient; he listened and we talked, He then took x-rays. By getting a better picture in his mind, he was then able to decide what he could do to help my pain go away, He was slow and gentle in working on my back After the first treatment my fears were gone; his adjustments were just what 1 needed. He then decided that a mold of rny back would be needed, and from that, he would fit a plastic mold into an elastic belt for me -- this would be the belt that I have worn faithfully for over 18 years. This belt has been the reason that I have not needed another surgery I feel that Dr. Weaver is a Christian, living and practicing his profession by the principles of his faith, He is highly educated in his profession and is sure to keep updated in all that he does. With such high principles, I feel he would not hesitate to ten someone if he were unable to help, and he would direct that patient to some other doctor. I have complete trust in him and what he does to help people in pain, I know of a parapalegic that couldn't come into his office for treatment, so Dr. Weaver went to the patient's home. —N.D.

I am really happy with the treatment that I have received form Dr. Weaver. He has helped my headaches tremendously. I was nagged with constant intense headaches. The medical doctors were not able to help me, and taking pain pills does not really cure the problem. The problem does not go away with pain pills, it just covers it up temporarily while whatever causes the headache remains. It finally got to the point where I just could not deal with it anymore, saw Dr. Weaver, and with the first adjustment my headaches began to decrease dramatically. I have had a total of three adjustments to my neck, and it has been more than 2 weeks since I have had a headache. Chiropractic treatment has helped my headaches a lot. —D.P.

After a work-related injury in Aug 2001, I was sent form doctor to doctor by Worker’s Compensation, and I was told they didn’t know what was wrong with my right elbow. I was then sent to a neurologist who said I had carpal tunnel in my right hand. He had no idea what was wrong with my elbow, but the two were not related. After being denied my right to a second opinion and a doctor my own, I was referred to Dr. Weaver by my own physician. After a month of seeing Dr. Weaver, the pain in my elbow has stared to subside. I am slowly able to do my normal daily chores, and I can finally sleep at night without pain. He was the only doctor who listened to my concerns. —T.L.C.

I had a frozen shoulder over a year and a half ago. It was so totally frozen I could not move my arm. I came in with tears in my eyes and a great deal of pain. Over the next six weeks, Dr. Weaver was able to completely unfreeze my shoulder and give me total movement in my arm. I have a good friend with an almost identical problem. She refused to go to a chiropractor saying they were not able to treat something like this. She ended up undergoing surgery 2 weeks ago, and it has not proven successful. Her shoulder refroze after the operation, and she is having a lot of pain. I recommend Dr. Weaver without reservations. —K.W.

I had a pain inside my elbow that felt like a bruised bone, the pain wouldn’t go away. It limited how well I could work. After one treatment and spinal adjustment, the pain went away the next day. I was able to resume work and not have that discomfort. —D.D.

I very much appreciate getting a chance to be seen by Dr. Weaver. He has changed my life. I thought maybe that I was going to have to live with pain forever. I was in a car accident in Sep., and I went to physical therapy up until about a month age. Nothing was helping me. My neck was still having spasms three or four times a day, and I was waking up every night with spasms. I came to see Dr. Weaver. I have been seen six or seven times. I feel 100 percent better. I am very very pleased and very happy. If I hadn’t seen a chiropractor, I don’t know where I would be right now. I was getting discouraged because my medical doctor told me that since several months of physical therapy hadn’t helped me, I was probably going to have to just live with it, and I didn’t know how I was going to be able to cope with that. —S.C.

Our 10-year old son started having headaches 2 ½ years ago. They became more frequent as time passed. They progressed to where he was having them form 5-6 times a week, usually after dinner. The severity also increased to the point where he was vomiting routinely. We thought it was allergy related, but no dietary change seemed to improve his condition, and we tried everything. We felt helpless and desperate. Then we began taking him to the chiropractor for adjustments. He has mild scoliosis and needed adjustments to retard and reverse the condition. To our pleasant surprise, the frequency and intensity of his headaches began to decrease. After a little over a month of weekly adjustments, the headaches are gone! We are so grateful to Dr. Weaver for aiding in the relief of pain, frustration and helplessness our family experiences. —S.H.

When muscle relaxers and pain pills do not relieve your back pains, I have found that the pain sometimes is caused form the spine being out of alignment (out of place). I believe chiropractic adjustments for spine alignment relaxes the muscle groups along the back. And after a few visits trains these muscles to hold and allow normal movement. —J.A.G.

Since I have been coming to see Jack Weaver, D.C., he has been doing ultrasound on my hand and wrist/arm area. Doctors I had seen thought I would need surgery, But I did not have to have surgery. I am totally shocked because my hand has changed 100 percent during the first 2-3 weeks I’ve been seeing Dr. Weaver. Before I came to see Dr. Weaver I was cramming so bad I had to take pills to help stop some of my pain. After I saw Dr. Weaver, if just took it away. It is not like it used to be at all. Over the weeks it has improved, and there is no more tingling and no more swelling. I have been able to play basketball again, and I have not had a lot of pain while driving. I feel I have about 80 percent of my use back. I foresee it improving a whole lot more in the next week or two. I am going to start using those had grips to strengthen my muscles in my fingers and joints and stuff. I think it will be great. I could not hold a rifle before, but now I can. As a matter of fact, I am going to go out there pretty soon with my brother duck hunting. —W.S.

I have been going to Dr. Weaver for many years for falls on ice, pinched nerves in shoulder and arm, migraine headaches and long siege of pneumonia. He recommends medical doctors when adjustments won’t help. He suggests vitamins and herbs for some problems. He has always been available in my “emergency pains”. He is concerned with over-all health plan and not just the immediate problem. I recommend Dr. Weaver for all kinds of aches, pains, and injuries. —J.B.

I have seen Dr. Weaver several years and was happy with the treatment. When I was out of town in the Los Angeles area, I was forced to see another chiropractor. I went for three weeks for a total of about nine visits and it didn’t really help much. I returned back home. I made an appointment with Dr. Weaver. I gotta say that the pain was 95 percent relieved with the first treatment. He saw me one more time; made a minimal correction, and discharged me making no appointments for me to return back unless I had a return of my difficulty. I was amazed that a treatment from him utilizing his technique was more effective than three weeks of treatment had been using a different technique. —A.C.
